Something magical happens when we put out merchandise and tell other people about our projects

Do you know what the great thing about stickers is? They stick. Just like we’re trying to do. Stick to our goals. Stick to our habits. Stick to our plans not to mention our guns. I actually believe stickers and other kinds of branded articles can help us stick to the things we care about.

You see, something magical happens as soon as we put the logo and name of the things we’re building on stickers and other merchandise like t-shirts and hats. Suddenly our project feels more real and tangible.

I guess it’s sort of the same thing that happens when we start to tell other people about our ambitions or build websites for our projects. As soon as they become something we share with other people they become part of our reality and identity.

Therefore, I’m about to order a bunch of stickers for the running club I have just formed with a friend of mine. It only consists of the two of us, which means that once we make it official with stickers and t-shirts we have to keep running if we want to keep the club alive. No one else is going to do it for us.
