As I looked through my latest posts the other day, something caught my attention. The time at which I had posted them was very similar. They were all published around 11 pm.

Sure enough, it has been a couple of busy weeks lately, as I have moved into a new apartment. But not that busy. So why I am pushing the writing of these posts so late into the evening?

I guess it all comes down to priorities. Recently I have really prioritized spending time with friends and trying to get back into shape by running and climbing. Those things are obviously part of a bigger mental health picture which in return contributes to greater productivity. At least that’s my hope.

Anyway, it goes to show that oftentimes the problem isn’t finding the time. It’s prioritizing your time. This realization has made me want to keep better track of how I’m spending my time. Is there something unproductive I’m splurging on? I have my suspicions! Therefore I will try to research different methods of tracking your time in the coming days. Expect a thorough review further down the line.
