What painting with watercolor has taught me

Recently, I have thrown myself into completely unknown territory by experimenting with watercolor painting as a form of stress relief. I have already learned quite a bit from it.

One of the things I have enjoyed the most is how hard the spread of the color onto the canvas is to control.

It doesn’t really matter whether you have a plan or not. Things rarely go according to your intentions. Instead you have to just go with the flow. Literally.

Working without a plan is something I would like to practice more. Especially when it comes to writing these daily posts.

I tend to spend way too long pondering about what subject to cover instead of just putting pen to paper and seeing where it takes me.

That’s something I hope to become more comfortable with through the exploration of new hobbies and projects.
