Notes on doing it — Day #346: You can’t do anything

Not right now at least. But maybe in the future if you follow the right path.

I’m a firm believer that you can do anything you put your mind to eventually. E-ven-tu-al-ly.

Right now you probably can’t. Getting to where you want to be takes time. It takes trial and error. It takes practice. It requires you to put in hard work.

There is no way around it. Great things don’t just happen overnight. And therefore it’s dangerous to walk around with a mindset of “I can do anything”, because that attitude makes it sound like it’s simply a matter of choice. And of course you would choose success if you could.

But it’s not only a matter of choice. It’s first and foremost a matter of hard work. When you get used to working hard, that’s when success becomes a matter of choice.
